Note:
Blue Note TOKYO is a small Jazz live house with a capacity of 400 people. The seats are all table seating, so you can enjoy the live music while eating and drinking.
The PA speakers are ceiling-hung JBLs on both sides of the stage.
This time we were seated at a table near the stage. Since eating and drinking are allowed during the concert, the sound of glasses being set down and ice shaking could be heard, but I liked it because of the atmosphere.
I think Larry Carlton's guitar sounded directly from the Bludtone on stage. The horns and keyboards are from the PA speakers, so there is a stereo feel.
The loud applause from my partner was deafening, so I used iZotope to reduce it.
The sweet sound of the guitar is the sound of Larry Carlton's intentional setting. His expression in picking nuance is like a guitar god, and I had a supreme time to see such a playing technique right in front of me.
