(BOOTLEGS.LED-ZEPPELIN.US) Recording Information:
Up front sound and very clear. A great show. In parts, Jimmy's guitar is a bit
in the back of the mix however, not for that long. The highlights are Gallows Pole
and Four Sticks which were not played regularly in Zeppelins setlists. Since the
tape used for this source seems to be the very close in generation to the same, I
decided to offer a different sound sample. This sample is Gallows pole while the
previously listed set is Four Sticks.
Heres the hype printed on the back of the trifold cover:
This is a very rare document of a performance from the band featuring the still
untitled track "Four Sticks",being played here for the first time!It is also the
only live recording of a performance for this track. The track "Gallows Pole" is the
only recording of this item live,as well as being the most complete version to date.
"Celebration Day" also gets performed for the first time and "Rock and Roll" is
called "It's Been A Long Time".This concert is a showcase for some of the tracks
that were to be on Led Zeppelin IV!!
As with many bootleg import CD's the date of the show is wrong, track list is
partially wrong.CD2 lists 9 tracks when there are actually only 7.Celebration Day
is played during the middle of Communication Breakdown & then reprises back to CB.
They had the reprise as a seperate track so I went ahead & made them into 1 track,
the seperation was senseless.
