The only tracks missing from this concert are the rest
of Moby Dick, Heartbreaker, Whole Lotta Love and The Ocean
IMHO. Who has the rest ???????

SQ: vg+/ex- aud, 2nd gen
8.5-9/10, IMHO as always.

This will be fairly short & sweet since I did not attend
this show and obviously did not record it. I got this concert
in a trade from a long-time Milwaukee taper/trader who assured
me that the tapes were 2nd gen from the taper. I have no reason
to doubt this claim. It looks to be ~ 75% of the show. There's
virtually no hiss, only mild distortion and no wow or flutter
that I can detect. When I was digitizing the tapes, the speed
sounded pretty good to me. Personally, I think that it's running
just a LITTLE slow. Listen to Plant's speaking voice during the
Plantations. He sounds a little less "trebly" than he usually does.
I just tried out the speed-correcting software on my Magix Audio
Cleaning Lab 2004 and it works wonderfully. I resisted, however,
the impulse to speed-correct this show on the following basis:
had I upped a SC version, one person would've said that it was too
slow, another would've said that it was too fast and a third would've
said that it was just right. Remind you of Goldilocks and The Three
Bears ? So fuck it. I think that it sounds OK but your mileage may vary.
If you KNOW what yer doing, someone may want to remaster or just
speed-correct this show. I've had these tapes in my possession for at
least 15 years if not longer. That's pretty much about all that I have
to say, so let's get the Zeppelin juggernaut rolling towards Nirvana...
but...

Now, some requests: if you have a recording of LZ,
Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, PA February 1 OR 2, 1975, please
upload it or PM me immediately. The same goes for ANY
Pittsburgh LZ show regardless as well as a complete
version of this show. Awright ? Sawright !!!

Finally, please don't buy, sell or convert this show to mp3
or any other lossy format. Please seed this as long as you can.
Please trade this version freely as it probably is very uncirculated
AT THIS GEN LEVEL. This show should be a welcome addition to any
Zeppelin fan's collection regardless of sound quality. I will post
a few samples to help some of you decide whether or not to download
this but trust me, it's worth getting. So, as Mr. Natural keeps on
and on and on saying, have fun, don't freak out and enjoy the concert !
