This is the 5th night of a 6 night run at the Forum in Los Angeles in 1977, ably documented by at least 2 tapers & several filmers. This

particular release is a 2 source mix, utilising the 2nd source to complete the 1st source, most notably to complete TSRTS - the tape is a

little rough to begin with, but does clear up soon enough. Other releases of this show, by SIRA & Tarantura, use the 1st source alone.

The performance is suitably notable as usual, the audience responding in kind to what still sounds like a band having fun onstage, despite

it being the 5th night out of 6. The setlist is a little unusual as well, with the band including 'That's Alright', Jimmy blending in a

Scottish traditional during his solo, & finally finishing with a Jerry Lee Lewis b-side instead of the more expected WLL/R & R finale. The

playing itself is a treat to hear, with intertwining rhythms never sounding out of place...
