Taper's Notes: This gig was held in a neat old venue called The National. I started the show upstairs in the balcony, 3rd row left, and the sound was surprisingly not very good. During the intermission I moved to the balcony, dead center, to some improvement, but I'm still not crazy with the acoustics upstairs at that venue. Since then I've taped on the floor a few times, to far better results.

As always, I am *horrible* at track names for instrumentals, and so I prefer not to "guess" lest I add confusion. I look forward to any constructive criticism.

I'd like to dedicate this recording to my friend Tom B., wherever you are, for turning me onto Kottke all those years ago - thanks!
