D1T01 Adjusting Mic levels during
first four minutes of set 1.

Hot Soup opened and are a Denver Funk
band with 4 members. A key/sax, guitar
bass and drums.

LN played two strong but short sets.
Not sure but the fox lists the start
time of each band on the wall and here
was the breakdown for the night. Show
was maybe half sold out.

Hot soup 9:00 - 9:40
LN Set 1 - 10:00 - 10:40
LN Set 2 - 11:00 - 12:00

It seemed to me that one of the wifes
came out and talked to leo around
midnight and probably said you need to
finish your set soon. Some reason the
fox wanted this over by midnight even
thou it was a Saturday night.

I recorded Dead Center on Drink rail.
I used the CA14 omni mics with the LB
preamp. The sound at the Fox was good
and very loud with heavy funk bass. I
postprocessed this one in wavelab to
deal with the bass. The sound of the
recording is good to very good. Crowd
noise can be heard on softer songs
and when LN talks between songs. Set 1
has almost no crowd noise. When leo plays
it fills the venue with lots of sound.
