On Monday night of Thanksgiving Week, I went to B.B. King Blues Club at 42nd st. finally to see Leon Russell - the Old Master of music in 70's. I have been listening to Leon since I was young. I like his music, his voice, his piano and his eyes. He looks old with white hairs and beards, but the music is still alive with a full of passion, energy and enthusiasm. As he wore glasses, I did not see his eyes. But I bet those blue eyes are still shining, stronger than ever.

As you can see, the show was full of his classics and songs those days including Wild Horses (Rolling Stones), I've Just Seen A Face (Beatles) and others. Every moment was great, but above all, the highlight for me was the sequence of "The Ballad of Mad Dogs and Englishmen" and "A Song For you" sung by Leon on piano only.

I recorded it live with my Korg MR-2. I was at the center of the stage in front of the long bar counter. The PA sound was not great, but the music is really great! Hope you enjoy, too!!

Have a great Thanksgiving Day (nobody likes cold turkey)!

P.S. If anyone knows the songs titled "unknown" at 04 and 08 below, please let me know.
