Here’s something I picked up recently realizing it’s kind of rare and hasn’t been circulated yet. A recording of Les Paul Trio.
The sound quality is decent though there is some background noise from the crowd and bottles clanking and
people laughing and stuff like that. I’m not sure what the source is. It’s either from a cassette or DAT.
Spectrum analysis indicates lossless. I have no idea what the titles are, so pardon me for not having a set list on this one.
There isn't very many recordings of Les Paul around so I figured you folks might enjoy this one.

Fade out at end of track 16.

Tiny tape cut at 9:12 during track 22.

unknown sax player.

A little backstory on this one. I had recently reached out to this collector named Gary Herman for this one particular Les Paul recording.
I got an email back from his wife. She went on to tell me that her husband Gary had passed away about 18 months earlier and that she would send me a copy of the show that I requested. I was quite surprised, but glad to receive it afterwards. She told me that if there’s anything else in her husband‘s collection that I wanted just to ask. His collection was easily over 5000 CDs and I’m not really sure what to ask for because nothing really jumped out at me and I’m not really sure what’s rare in his collection though, I’m sure there must be some gems in his collection.
I just don’t know what they are , and it would take a lot of investigating to figure out what I should ask for.
So for the time being it’s all gonna sit on the back burner. Thanks to Gary on the other side.
