Hello Everyone.

I finally made it to a show at The Kate. I've heard great things about this place but never really made an effort to travel the half hour to beautiful Old Saybrook. A spectacular evening of dinner with Runkle, some nice scenery in the park prior to the show and a great performance by Les Paul's Trio. Nicki, Lou and John have played with Les Paul for many years prior to his passing and have continued as a trio keeping the legacy of Les Paul's vision alive. Bucky Pizzarelli, needless to say, is a legend in his own right and as influential to the evolution of the electric guitar sound and style as Les Paul was.

As always, please support the artist and venues like The Kate.
