Level 42 - 2025-08-17 - Marktplatz, Worms, Germany - Jazz n Joy Festival
I saw Level 42 twice on their "Pursuit of Accidents" tour, around '82/'83, when they were relatively unknown rising youngsters. Next stop Worms 2025.
In the meantime they got famous, disbanded, re-united, comeback album in 2006, all that stuff...
Now here's the Mark King / Mike Lindup duo + hired guns, performing their 80's hits. Fair enough.
Anyway, the nostalgia virus hit me hard and it was a no-brainer when the show were announced ~25 km from my home and a ticket price of 30 - for the entire sunday (with Emma Rawicz & some more)! And I loved it.
Sound is a bit 'open airy', but ok. In the beginning, my microphone was attacked by a few wind blasts, until (after track 4) I had the idea to put a sock (used as smuggling aid) on it. I managed more or less to remove resulting rumbles, you might notice a little lack of low frequencies at these spots.
Enjoy!
