A Doodee Music Master Recording

"If it's a DOODEE, you know it's the SHITŪ"
- Stripeydave 2008

This post is all about freely sharing some great music, spreading the word about these bands, increasing sales of their goods and attendance at their shows and having a little fun.

Lightnin' Malcolm is a no-nonsense hill country blues man who's one of the few out there keeping the form alive in this modern age. He's the genuine deal learning and honing his craft on the porches and in the juke joints playing with the likes of Cedell Davis, T-Model Ford and RL Burnside. Among the items involved in this show - a guitar, a slide, a bass drum, a snare drum, a cymbal, a milk crate, a cinderblock - all played by Lightnin'. If you're lucky enough to see Lightnin' make sure you track him down and talk a bit about his hill country musical path. He's a genuinely nice guy with some great stories. Testify people. Y'all enjoy.
