Linda Hornbuckle's Old Time Gospel Hour
Waterfront Blues Festival
Portland, OR.
July 6, 2014

Another year of WBF recordings. Recorded from KBOO FM in Portland, OR. A great lineup again this year. I was looking forward to Greg Allman's set, but he had to pull out due to sickness. Oh well, I wouldn't have been able to share him here anyway. Seems to be much more DJ talking this year, interrupting some music. I just left it in rather than trying to edit each show. Feel free to make any changes you wish for personal use.

I may need help with some of the set list's as I don't know all the bands.

Enjoy, twofthrs

Linda Hornbuckle's Old Time Gospel Hour is a hand-clapping, foot stomping and soul cleansing affair. The NW #1 Soul Sister returns to her roots as a gospel singer, where she began her career at her father Bishop Howard Hornbuckle's Grace & Truth Pentecostal Church.

The Woman with the voice from heaven and a 2010 inductee into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame is widely considered one of the Northwest's most powerful and moving gospel/blues/soul vocalist.

Best known for their funky soul sound, her band -- with the addition of 2013 inductee into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame Janice Scroggins on Piano -- brings their heavenly groove to The Old Time Gospel Hour with Special Guest: Rev. Matthew Jointer from Bethesda Baptist Church and a soul stirring performance by Linda's cousin Mary Minnieweather-Tucker.

Set List

I would only be guessing as I don't know any of these tunes. Have you ever tried to look up any Gospel songs? Wow
