Another year of WBF recordings. Recorded from KBOO FM in Portland, OR. A great lineup again this year. I was looking forward to Greg Allman's set, but he had to pull out due to sickness. Oh well, I wouldn't have been able to share him here anyway. Seems to be much more DJ talking this year, interrupting some music. I just left it in rather than trying to edit each show. Feel free to make any changes you wish for personal use.

I may need help with some of the set list's as I don't know all the bands.

Portland�s Lisa Mann has been awarded eight Cascade Blues Association�s Muddy Waters Awards for both vocals and bass guitar, and was inducted into the CBA Hall of Fame. She released her latest CD, Move On, in March. In her most stylistically adventurous work yet, R&B aficionados will appreciate Mann's reverent mining of the royal musical archives of Stax, Motown, and Muscle Shoals to create an impressive modern homage to her rhythm and blues forebears. Originally from West Virginia, Mann�s vocals effortlessly straddle the line between the honey sweet warmth of the South, and the force-of-nature sound Mann has cultivated by mastering everything from hard rock to Memphis soul. Her clever blues balladry is complimented by her considerable prowess on bass, with grooves that touch on the hallowed soil of Soul greats James Jamerson and Bob Babbitt.

Lisa�s aptly named Really Good Band represent the best of the Northwest music scene. Guitarist Jeff Knudson provides a broad sonic backdrop, with roots in blues-rock, soul and funk. Drummer Michael Ballash lays down a mighty swing, with a background in classic and modern jazz. Keyboardist Brian Harris, who also performs with Northwest giant Curtis Salgado, breathes life into the music with his earthy, soulful R&B approach.
