The first of a two-night stand (second will be uploaded in a few days). The matrix
recording by Chris is excellent -- it sounds like the best audience recording you've ever
heard. The mix seems less than perfect, with the drums out front and Paul Barrere's
vocal and guitar too low at times. But that's a quibble. A fine performance of a great
set list, with inspired work from Feat "DC auxiliary member" Ron Holloway on sax. He has
an especially fun horn duel with Fred Tackett on trumpet during Spider's Blues. And I
don't know of any other performance of the Down on the Farm > jam > Rocket in My Pocket
sequence. The jam has a hint of Candyman Blues, a set list staple nowadays following
