Great Festival, but there are a few bummers:

1. Back in those days, it was usually pretty easy to set up a mic stand at this kind of show (see photo). Duke Robillard and James Cotton went fine but during the BB King set I saw BB's stage people pointing at the mics. Anticipating the bust, I stopped my tape and put in a new blank. Sure enough - got shut down and had the tape (the new blank) taken shortly thereafter.

2. Some other tapers I met there snuck a board patch. I went with them to a bar after the show and got a 1st gen of part of the show. It sounds like their PMD430 got too hot at the show (it was a hot day) - the sbd tape sounds a little warbled.

3. James Cotton did a couple songs with BB King, I wasn't able to get that part of the show.
