Rec. Info:
unknown lineaged audience recording. The minor amnount of hiss leads me to the conclusion that this is low gen, maybe 3rd from the master.
This cassette (TDK SA90) -> playback on Harman Kardon CD 491 -> Zoom H2n (at WAV 16/44) -> SD -> HD -> Audacity (edit/remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME ->
YOUR EARS AND MIND...vapourized by the black sun collision...
Sorry, this misses the first minute of BLACK SUN, as it was distorted beyond believe. Absolutely no chance for saving, absolutely unlistenable. I simply cut that out.
Also, the vocals are a bit low in the mix for the first songs, and amount of hiss varies (???) a bit. Anyway, given the age of the tape, I think it's a nice recording.
Nothing more - but also nothing less! Another great find from SEETHELIGHT7's cellar below his garage. It's labled that he received this tape from his then-companion
EVA from Sweden. So, thank you, EVA, wherever you are!

Usually it's fun to write the liner notes to a show, sometimes not really, but sometimes it's a real pleasure and labour of love. Once again, and not too often, this is the
latter kind of comment. As I recently stumbled across this recording from one of the million boxes of tapes, I thought: Wow, but that must be already up on DIME. I've checked
all my DL'd (((LOOP))) shows (and I think I grabbed ALL posted recently), but could not find this. If I missed, I'm sorry. But if I'm right on with this great show from one of
my favourite bands that I was re-introduced to via DIME and the cassette collections of ST7 and DIMENEW, there can't be anything wrong.
What makes this band so special? I guess, it's their impressive mixture of Drone/Psychedelic/Kraut(loops), which was once unique, and still is. On top of that hazy spacey sound is
the great monotone voice of Mr. Hampson, singing, as he's got nothing to do with the maelstrom of orgasmic sound. A shame that I did not witness any of their excursions into light
and dark space those daze. Or maybe I did, but memory is sometimes a bit weak if you're getting older and had attended some 500+ shows in your life. Or maybe more...???
So, my request for #1 reunion is (((LOOP))). Think I wished that before...Anyway, lighten your seat belts and off we go...SB.
