Missing the first (approx) 2 1/2 minutes as Flaco's encore was recorded over the start of the Los Lobos set.
The tape deck was also paused between most songs.
Many old school tapers did this as tape was expensive and this was supposed to save $$.
I rarely did this myself because you inevitably missed the beginning of the next song.
Some effort has been made to remove the swooshing sound of the pause button and smooth out these breaks.

This may be the first time Los Lobos played in front of the Hollywood crowd.
It was the first time that any of our friends has seen them and we were part of that roots and rockabilly scene.
(The person who recorded this was in a band with Johnny Meeks-guitarist for Gene Vincent in the 1950's)

Cheers to my old friend JIM (the cookie man) for recording and then giving this tape to me.
He would have been pleased to know he passed on something special for Los Lobos fans.
What a great guy he was.
