I had seen these guys open for Neil Young a couple summers ago and liked their set. A very solid band of great musicians and singers. They really looked they were enjoying themselves too. We had a good location close to left stack, decent crowd around us and the mix was nice. A special treat to have Rick Rosas "Rick the bass player" join them for a couple songs. Rick is a local boys and toured extensively with Neil Young over the years. Great cover of Cinnamon Girl too!
Los Lobos still is:
David Hidalgo vocals, guitar, accordion, fiddle, Requinto jarocho
Louie Prez vocals, guitar, drums, Jarana huasteca
Cesar Rosas vocals, guitar, Bajo Sexto
Conrad Lozano vocals, bass, Guitarron
Steve Berlin keyboards, horns
Enrique "Bugs "Gonzalez drums, percussion
Rick Rosas - Bass guitar, vocals*
As always, NEVER for sale, trade freely, and always support the artists' commercial endeavors.
Enjoy,
David
P.S. I could be totally off on the track names, going off a photo of the setlist. Any help would be appreciated.
