Notes:
Started off with almost an hour construction delay I was unprepared for just north of
Columbus, which meant I had to ignore speed limits to hope I'd get to the show on time,
which I did by about 20 minutes. Everything else went smoothly (so far). As Cesar was
absent, here's even more David Hidalgo for ya. What an amazing talent - guy seems like
10 feet tall on stage. Also, probably a little more from Steve, who also had a good night.
During La Bamba, a drunken female climbed on stage in front of Louie and did an immediate
face-plant right onto his small guitar that was on a prop and, I think, smashed it's neck
as well as two mic stands. Wow. Seemed to me that La Bamba was a bonus to the crowd too.
(This is the thanks I get!) Anyway, great show, highlights for me were 10 minute versions
of Chains Of Love and Teresa. Sound is excellent, though the crowd gets a little unruly
at the end. Samples below. Enjoy!
