Wooster Group

WEDNESDAY -- The United States premiere of "Far Away, So Close," a film by Wim Wenders starring Willem Dafoe,
Nastassja Kinski and Peter Falk, will raise money for the Wooster Group, an ensemble that has developed and produced
theater, film and video works. Mr. Dafoe, an ensemble member, and Mr. Wenders are to attend. The benefit begins with a
dinner at 6 P.M. at the Markham, 59 Fifth Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets. The screening, at 7:30 at the Village
East Cinema, 189 Second Avenue at 12th Street, will be followed by a reception, including a performance by Lou Reed, at
