Here’s a great one from billydee’s stash…Loudon Wainwright live in Philly 12/19/83!

I think LW III got me into punk rock at an early age…my dad had the ‘Attempted Moustache’ LP when I was all of about 5-6 years old, and I would put on “Clockwork Chartreuse” and dance around, learned all the words and basically other things that would scare normal parents…my folks just put me in front of the TV to watch Tom & Jerry…it’s amazing I’m not a serial killer…;))

My dad would later go through my LP’s as a teenager and take my “Too Drunk to Fuck” single, which STILL was not as subversive as “Clockwork Chartreuse”, but hell, it had the word FUCK in it, it must be the root of all my ills…

Welp, I got my single back, and I grew up to be relatively normal…still love me some old Loudo, and the DK’s too…always poignant and hilarious…the kind of laughter that hurts a bit.

A great show here…with some filler from an FM broadcast…

Enjoy, but please!
