The Louisiana Aces (traditional Cajun music)
February 25, 1979

Pittsburgh, PA
presented by Calliope House, Pittsburgh Folk Arts Cooperative and Duquesne Union
Doc Guidry - Fiddle

Another special concert from my Calliope House archives. Dewey Balfa who played fiddle with the Louisiana Aces had lost his two brothers Will & Rodney Balfa to a car crash on February 9, 1979 and was not able to make this concert tour. Soundboard recording to cassette tape with very good sound quality marred only by a slight hum in the background. Traditional Cajun music by three acknowledged masters of the genre.
