The Love Sisters
Featuring Barbara Healy and Deb Cleveland
Waterfront Blues Festival
Portland, OR.
July 6, 2008

Recorded from KBOO FM. An all volunteer radio station in Portland. FM>HD>FLAC>Dime or at times FM>H2 ZOOM>HD>FLAC>Dime. As always there are some bumps in the road, but nothing that would stop me from down loading these shows. I've tried to fix all the drops and pauses in the music. Enjoy the festival, twofthrs

Eugene blues-soul divas team up to turn on the heat.

"Barbara Healy and Deb Cleveland have been sharing their love of Blues, Soul, Motown and pretty much anything else that makes you shake your rump for some time now.." (Jeremy Ohames)

As solo artists they have both received rave reviews for their ability to incite and inspire audiences at venues across the Pacific Northwest. "Deb Cleveland and Barbara Healy have fun both on and off the stage" (Eugene Register-Guard)

"Their voices are distinct. Healy possesses a satiny soulful croon while Cleveland's growl has the same rough, raw...bite as Koko Taylor... Their voices work well together...almost like a Blues version of good cop/bad cop..." (Eugene Weekly).

Deb Cleveland, an award-winning vocalist, has two CD's under her belt: "Live All Night Long" with the Deb Cleveland Band and "Tickle My Toes" with the Vipers.

Barbara Healy is not only an accomplished singer and performer, but a prolific songwriter. She has released two previous CD's full of her own songs; "Mama Told Me Not To Look" with the Barbara Healy Band, and "Lullabies for a Troubled Planet", an acoustic project which received rave reviews from Billboard Magazine.

Now they have teamed up to write and produce an EP, "Share the Love", a gem of a CD featuring original songs with an old favorite thrown in. They are backed by The New Allnighterz, an all-star band featuring some of the Pacific Northwest's finest Blues players. Get ready to "Share the Love" and some "all around gettin' down" (Eugene Weekly).
