Notes: WOW, they just keep getting better live. I'm still pretty much untrained to the new album so I was hoping this show had the same effect on me as when I saw them in 2019 supporting Double Negative, and it certainly did. Both albums are so much better live IMO, and hearing these songs live opens up a whole new dimension to them. As for the recording, it's a fantastic capture of a fantastic mix by the fine Tom Herbers. I just did some tweeking with the bass dynamics to bring out more detail and optimize the headroom of the recording. This was my first time using my newly acquired DPA ADC recording into an iPhone, and I'm thoroughly impressed! The noise floor on this recording is so quiet that I think this will be a game changer for my stealth recordings going forward. Enjoy!
