I'm pleased to say that Lucinda is back after suffering a stroke in November 2020. Still unable to play guitars, but her voice is stronger than ever. The gratitude for being alive just exudes from her every note. This was the 2nd night of a 2 night stand at the Kessler and the sound was dialed in perfectly. The band was on fire and they played their asses off. Lucinda was quite talkative so I tracked the banter seperately, but also tincreased the volume +3db on those tracks. No editing was done other than to normalize the channels and boost overall volume. I had an empty seat neat to me and an aisle on the other. Ansolutely ZERO distractions on this on. So crank it up!!
Band:
Lucinda Williams - Lead vocals
Stuart Mathis - Guitar, vocals
David Sutton - Bass Guitar, vocals
Butch Norton - Drums, vocals
Jim Obahn(sp) - keyboard, guitars
