Lukas Nelson coordinated putting together this special Lokahi benefit show for Lahaina, Maui.
The concert began with short sets from each of the special guests. The finale was Lukas Nelson with his band Promise Of The Real eventually joined for a song by each of the guest artists.
During the opening sets, Lukas played and sang "Shallow" w/Gretchen Rhodes who sings with Mick Fleetwood Blues Band and has been on tour with Dave Mason. Bradley Cooper performed the song with Lady Gaga in the movie "A Star is Born". Lukas dubbed all of Bradley Cooper's guitar lines for the movie.
Kenny Chesney made a surprise appearance for one song in the opening segment but did not appear with Promise Of The Real. However, Gracie Potter who performed with him did come out for tracks 17/18.
Willie Nelson came onstage at track 13 and stayed for the remainder of the performance.
There's some audience chatter and noise in the recording. Much has been removed or attenuated. It rained on and off the entire night so some wind noise can be heard a few times.
Take it if you need it, if you don't just pass it on.
Aloha from Maui,
