I Tested The Mk4'S At Some Blues Clubs Before The Fest, But This Was The 1St Larger & Louder Concert Using Them.



Well It Was That Time Of The Year, The Chicago Blues Fest Was Happening, I Got My New Schoeps Rig Ready To Go,
And The Weather Cooperated For The Most Part. For Me, It Doiesnt Get Much Better. When I Got Down To Grant Park,
The First Thing I Noticed Was There Were No Signs Saying "No Audio Recording". I Walked Around The Festival Grounds
With A Mic Stand Until I Found A Piece Of Earth To Reest My Mic Stand. Lurrie Bell Can Be Really Good Sometimes And
Other Times He Can Be Way Out Of Tune And His Guitar Just Is Week. This Was A Really Good Set. Lots Of Soulful Blues
Singing And Guitar Playing To Match That. The Backing Band Has Been Together For A Whiler And They Are Tight And
Sounded Great. There Was A Special Guest On Harmonica, His Brother Steve Bell Harrington.

This Was A Great Set And I Like The Way The Schoeps Captured The Sound. More Sets To Come From The Cbf Soon. Enjoy
