Lewisville Western Days is an annual event for the city. They block off streets in the Old Town area and the main stage is set up at the intersection of Church and Mill streets. I was about 50 yards back directly behind the soundboard. This is my master recording and I have only tracked it. I did fix the SBE's and also created a MD5.

* Tapers notes:
If you go to enough concerts, at some point you're going to sit or stand next to the drunken idiot(s). This was that show for me. It is kind of my fault. When he showed up he was already drunk and had 4 more beers in hand. He was dressed more appropriately for a Jimmy Buffett concert and he was yelling "Skynyrd" and "Freebird" before the band even took the stage. That was my fair warning to move away from him, but I liked my spot and usually the Zoom does a pretty good job of toning down the crowd so I opted to stay. How much worse could it get? Everything is going pretty good. He had bumped into me a couple of times and there is some chatter, but nothing to bad. Then his wife and him decide to show off their mad dance skills (and why not, we are only in a standing room only crowd). I am not up on my country dance moves but what ever it was it had too many turns for drunk people and down they went. Of course people never fall straight down. They always stumble first, and they both fell directly into me. I keep my Zoom in my t-shirt pocket and cross my arms to push the mic above the top of the pocket. By the time I uncrossed my arms to push them away I had already taken an unknown body part to the chest and it shut off the Zoom. I was just glad it did not erase the file. This is why That Smell is cut. So as the crowd is helping both of them up I gave both of them the you better calm your drunk asses down look and they did, for the rest of that song. The next time he was about to bump into me I held out my arm to keep him away and he took the hint and moved elsewhere in the crowd. The rest of the show was uneventful. This recording is dedicated to all the people in the crowd near me that also had to endure these idiots. Here's to hoping those two woke up to a wicked hangover and scrapes and bruises from their Dancing With Pavement moment.

Enjoy,
