The story on this is that Sam was part of a package blues tour and that this is his complete performance at this show. He is also known to have been shot in the leg on his first tour of the West Coast and to have performed his Los Angeles debut in a full leg cast; whether or not this is that performance I do not know. I have not been able to vet the date but I know he was at the Fillmore for three nights the following week, so the date is quite plausible.
