MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND
- April 10, 1979 -
Philipshalle, Duesseldorf, Germany
** audience 1st gen, MWM 0164 **
>> incredible pre-VINYL STUDIO MASTERING - AZIMUTH ALIGNED !
AWESOME SOUNDING ! SIMPLY A MUST ! EASY TO READ ! << NO samples

Preliminary remark 1:

Sadly, in all my past uploads, i used TOO many words,
too long texts, infos etc.pp. with complicated syntax.

Today is "SMS"-generation, with word completion programs using,
all done just one-thumbed. None of the "Youngsters" nowadays
needs more than 500 letters, maximum, in ONE simple context...

A COMPLETELY STRIPPED TO THE BONE UPLOAD (copyright: lonetaper)
contains all you need and what the DIME rules reqire, without
all redundant parts - respecting the above "max. 500 letter rule".

Preliminary remark 2:

As far as i know NONE of this recording was ever used commercially.

This upload here comes directly from
the "Men With Microphones" archives.
MORE? READ MY OLD UPS...

A damn lot of all kinds fellow DIMErs sandbagged me into writing some short intro text
attending this incommensurable torrent here (and disregarding the "max. 500 letter rule").

And knowing that my English is very limited (Pidgin-type...) and my syntax
is too complicated, they all asked me to use sort & simple sentences...

Got this one end of 1979 or early 1980.
Cannot remember. I'm old, my bones hurt...

From some kind of "friend", doing lotta illicit things, back then.

No, it was NO real "friend", more like a "friend" knew another one, which
was truly knowing a very reliable person, and this fellow's brother of the
brother's or sister's spouse had once heard about this other guy in the vinyl
bootleg scene - AHHH, and yes, there could be a very spectacular Manfred Mann's
Earth Band tape of a 1979 show...having patience was absolutely necessary in
this kind of business, back then...and let's say: a fearless character...

(well, think this was TOO complicated, too long, weird syntax...)

Got this one end of 1979 or early 1980.
Cannot remember. I'm old, my bones hurt...

(this is a recapitulation to arouse your interest - attended once a course in authorship)

At one of those real big record fairs, back then. Met a few guys, some real friends,
and some "friends"...think you got it...bought something, talked a lot and got finally
this TDK SA-C90 with an interesting cover - scan is included in the torrent.

An audience recording from Düsseldorf Philipshalle 1979, completely reworked and mastered
in a professional recording studio - planned for some double vinyl record set in a very
limited edition...you'll hear the fade ins/fade outs in the audience clapping quite clearly ;-)

Have never seen or heard of a true vinyl recording of this show later on,
maybe some of the real hardcore collectors can shed some light on this...

SO I CALL THIS a 1st generation tape from a pre-VINYL STUDIO MASTERED audience recording.

THIS TORRENT HERE

IS A MUST-HAVE !

PERIOD !!

If you're interested to read more, please check the internet...or MY old torrents...

Again, here is NO overlong info waffle & verbose text...JUST MUSIC.

WELL CIRCULATED (NO, that's a lie...as usual) - PLEASE ENJOY!

Germany (the country)

April 10, 1979 (the date)

Duesseldorf, in German: Düsseldorf, is the capital city of the German state
of North Rhine-Westphalia and center of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.
Düsseldorf is an important international business and financial centre and
also renowned for its fashion and trade fairs. Even though only among the ten
most populous cities in Germany by population within city limits, Düsseldorf
ranks as one of the country's five global cities.

As a city by the River Rhine, Düsseldorf is a stronghold for Rhenish carnival
celebrations. Every year in July more than 4.5 million people visit the city's
"Größte Kirmes am Rhein" funfair.

As i am NO specialist in Manfred Mann's music, too lazy and frustrated at the moment,
therefore now sadly complete brainless - left the school after just 4 years Volksschule,
and now, with about 30+ years of heavy headbanging (later banging my BALLS TO THE WALL...),
I need (NO, NOT REALLY...i'm a liar...hahaha!) some experts help for the setlist etc.pp.!
The less information we share, the slower those uploads will end in all those mercenary BLOGS...

Therefore the track cuts are just guesses...hahaha !
