Martin Barre Cleveland Dec 13 2015

Woo Hoo! I did get to travel to Cleveland in December anb see one of Martin's shows. It was fantastic! I've been a huge Tull fan since I was a kid, long ago, and Martin was one of the best parts of Tull. I always saw Tull as a rock band, I like them most when thay are blasting through the harder rocking stuff Like Minstrel or Aqualung (not so much teh song as the album).

I've seen Tull, and or Ian a lot since the heavy days in the 70's and do love teh shows but they rock less and less. I've seen Ian's solo tours and though he always has great players it's not Tull.

Martin didn't get to America last tour so I was excited to see he did this time. I had to travel but I don't mind, it was well worth it. The band was awesome, the show was awesome and Martin signed and talked to anyone that wanted to meet him. I had brought some 8X10's of photos I have taken of him over the years but then left them in my sister's house before teh show :( .It was a great night. This night was sort of historical because he broke a string on stage, I'm told that has never happened before! I caught it on video!!

Anyway, I got a pretty good recording. I notice some clicking sometimes barely there, sometimes more prominant. Not sure what it is, sometimes it's in rhythym with the band, sometimes not so I wonder if it's someone near me tapping on something. I'll post a sample and you can decide if it bothers you.

I take a lot of photos at concerts and I will include 3 or 4 in here. Sadly these smaller shows don't always have teh best light and Martin was mostly blue, funny that the unknown singer gets teh best light!
