This show took place a couple of years following the failed Supremes Reunion Tour of 2000 and Mary mentions it during the course of this performance.

To refresh everyone's memory, Diana Ross had planned to do a Supremes reunion tour and include Mary Wilson who would get paid two million dollars. Mary Wilson stated that she wanted five million. In the end the amount of four million was agreed on. However, for some reason, in the end Diana Ross did not include Mary Wilson and instead took Lynda Laurence and Scherrie Payne on tour with her. The tour was a commercial failure and was cancelled half-way through its dates.

This performance was recorded outdoors with a Sony MZ-R70 MiniDisc recorder and core sound battery box microphones. It took me a minute or two to get into position on the street during the first song, so bear with the recording for the first few minutes. Also, the bass drum was a little too loud in the mix the entire night and Mary Wilson even commented on it after the second song. Mary Wilson continues to tour and delight fans with her renditions of the Supremes's hits...yet it seems none of these shows get recorded.
