As usual, Matt put on an awesome performance. Powerful and moving. Matt broke 2 separate strings during his performance and changed them quickly on the spot.

This is a great recording. I'd been trying to keep my digicorder in my water section of my camelback backpack because it is lined with foil to keep the water cool which I figured would also help with the huge problems I'd been having with cell phone interference with some of my other recordings throughout the festival. After my initial tests yesterday it seemed to be working, however today it was putting too much pressure on the 1/8" cable input and this caused a loss of signal on and off during my recording of the earlier Dana Fuchs set. Although I was using the same technique as I did at the Dana Fuchs show, I didn't have any signal loss on this one.

Later that night, I accidentally ran into Matt after having met Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi and he was kind enough to take a photo with me. He told me that he didn't mind people reording his shows as long it's for personal use and they're not making money from it

Things to listen for:
Unfortunately, there's a little noise bleed from an adjacent stage. It's not often and it's not bad.
At about 1:20 into the first song there's less than a second of interfernce from cables being put under pressure in my bag. It happens again for a second or so during track 11.

Fight the Loudness War! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war
No compression was used in the post-processing of this recording to preserve it's dynamic range, listenability and authenticity.
This recording will naturally sound much better cranked up loud with quality headphones!
Peace & enjoy,
Seth
