3rd time to see Matt Schofield in this venue. I remember the first time he was an unknown
artist and perhaps 50 people were present. The 2nd time the venue was full and the third time
it was packed. He's getting too big for this venue, although he likes playing there.

Charlie Parr was opening. He's somebody I've been wanting to see for some time, so this night
was extra nice for me. That the audience didn't come for Charlie Parr was evident, because all
they did was talk, very undeserved.
Also during Matt's set they talked a lot, but fortunately the 2 men standing next to me kept
quiet after I spoke about this annoying behaviour with the persons who came with me. They heard
this (as was my intention) and looked like sheep (no disrespect to sheep, I like them a lot).

Anyway Matt's set was very good, as could be expected. He has a new drummer, Kevin Hayes who has played
with people like BB King.

Only one thing wrong with Matt: he looks too nice on stage. For me blues may be rawer, meaner,
more like his friend Ian Siegal.
