A very good recording of MF on a very strong night. A different taper
captured the following night in Elkhart, Indiana. I suspect the
master tape was used for the original CD-R, and my CD-R copy is
at least a couple copies down the line. The track indexes were
in odd locations, usually a couple of seconds into the start of the tune.
There were also gaps between the tracks. I extracted all the tracks with
EAC and then re-edited them into new tracks which start at the beginning
of each tune.
The highlight of this recording is the epic 20-minute version of Latino
Lovewalk, featuring solos by everyone in the trumpet section. A weaker
and shorter version of this tune was later recorded on the Storm album.
