McCoy Tyner, Blues Alley, Washington DC, October 12, 1982: Recorded from the front row of tables, left, using a Sony TC-150 mono cassette recorder with ALC on conventional bias TDK AD cassettes. Made from the master cassettes. Tyner was joined by Gary Bartz (saxes), John Blake (violin) Jeff Lee (guitar), Tom Barney (bass), Wilby Fletcher (drums), and, on three songs, Yvonne Wright (vocals). The recording begins with the last song of the first set (Love Surrounds Us). During the second set, the band played Mr. PC, Prelude to a Kiss, Jamaica, an unknown tune, Old McDonald Had A Farm (yes, that Old McDonald Had A Farm), and The Siege.
