The Felt Forum is now called The Theater at Madison Square Garden. I always thought the Felt Forum was a strange name, and envisioned a theater whose walls were covered with felt. It was, in fact, named after Irving Felt, the person who was instrumental in getting a new Madison Square Garden built in the 1960s.
