Here's another super rare Melanie recording.

The taper ran levels a bit hot during the first 3 songs, then the levels were lowered and it sounds much smoother.

I've balanced the volume, so there isn't any volume swells.

There is a tape flip between tracks 8 and 9, fades on both.

There is a tape pause between 9 and 10, fades on both.

After 'Brand New Key', you hear Melanie introduce the next song 'I'm Back In Town' and then the tape ends.

I'm sure the rest of it was recorded, it just didn't fit on this 90 min tape.

This has a bunch of songs I'd never heard before, including a cover of Jimi Hendrix's 'Purple Haze'.

I've included a newspaper article written in 1974, which makes for some interesting reading.

The reviewer doesn't know what to make of Melanie and questions her supposed talent and appeal.
