complete show: 2HR 47 MIN 50 SEC

Primary Taper/compiler: Mike Martin -

Per Mikes notes:

"1. Regarding the source for the majority of the first set:

Recorded by Mike Martin
With 2 Sennheiser e-614 microphones on stands near the edges of the stage
Recorded with a core sound 24-96 > IPAC computer (well should say almost recorded)

Spliced the two sources together at the 25:33 mark or 4:42 of the second track
It is the point where the recording goes to a wide stereo sound.

2. Regarding the source used to fill in the first 25 minutes and for almost all of the second set:

Can't remember his name but he said he had Neumann KM55 microphones > (I think) Sony PCM-M10
Recorded in the back of the room and both microphones were on a single stand.

CD's were burnt and given out after the show.
Disc 1 was very scratched up so I only used the beginning for the first set.
Disc 2 was missing Interstellar Overdrive.
Of course, another dose of Murphy's law.

3. Regarding the final source used for the final song "Interstellar Overdrive":
The version used to complete this show can be found in the "music" section at archive.org
https://archive.org/details/MermenAndHenryKaiser11082014
The version at this location is mp3 but what is used here came from a torrent site and was in flac24 format

Recorded by Chris Berry from FOB
2 Church Audio CA-11 microphones > Sony PCM-M10 at 28/48k
Audacity (fades and cuts) > flac 24 (level 8)

to put these different sources together:
Audacity was used to clean up some diginoise at about 6:30 of disc 1 track 1 then to convert the last song to 16-44.
Adobe Audition 3.0 for the splices and minor repairs.
CD Wav to cut tracks on sector boundaries
Traders Little Helper to convert to flac (level 8) and create checksums and fingerprints
Stamp ID3 tag editor to add the song titles and other info"
