Performances dated May 1, 1993 sometimes appear from an FM broadcast on WWOZ, It's likely that those FM recordings are misdates of the April 30 performance from the Fairgrounds. This tape is something different. It was not recorded from the radio and the date and venue are confirmed from the 1993 Jazzfest program. It was also clearly an audience recording, a bit bass heavy at that (a little EQ helped a lot).

The beginning of Funky Miracle is cut. It's not clear how much is missing or if any songs came before it. Santana and Adewale Ayuba also performed at the Municipal Auditorium this night, so chances are the Meters played for about an hour. This recording runs 57 minutes. It's therefore likely that it's mostly intact.
