NOTES: this part of University of Louisville Jazz week and Micheal Brecker Quartet was one of the main headliners. However, the Bass player was stranded at the airport; enter; Jack Helmsley , a local player, who has to sit in with the band! He does a great job ! The recording is super dynamic, it could use some normalization, the level is a little low, and there are some close hand claps. I know this source is uncirculated because I never transferred it until now. There could have been more tapers there but I�ve never seen a copy � Brecker RIP, was a amazing sax player that actually played with Hendrix on a some rare studio stuff way back in the late 60s in New York� Brecker really was the �new york sound� that you hear from the 70�s� one of the all time greats !
