::: Noisy bar crowd, but RIGHT up close, clear, dynamic, stereo recording. Check samples for inhalation trepidation or gateway bytes.
::: Warts: None aside from the loud background talking.
::: Finally remembered this was a private birthday party with Michael opening for another band (The Spike Drivers?).
::: Song title assistance always appreciated.

Playback 2011-12-30 ::: TDK MA-100 metal master stereo audience cassette on Nakamichi BX-300 cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth adjusted, heads cleaned & demagnatized -> Tascam CD-RW900SL pro CD recorder -> CD-RW -> computer, EAC secure -> wavs -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, -1.6% single pass averaged speed fix after spectral analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded week of 2014-11-22.

Line-up ::: Michael Chapman - acoustic guitar, vocals.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 072 ::: Thanks to the original taper, meself & The Man In The Palace for the loan of the equipment. ::: Corrections welcome ::: To be honest, when I found this master in the box, I had no real recollection of seeing Michael at the 12 Bar but it musta happened as it's my handwriting on the tape box & Michael outs me from the stage. I must have been sitting up at the front table for this one, tho' I usually sit at the front table in the little balcony so I am directly in front of the artist - fairly humorous when you see Robyn Hitchcock from that angle, as he is so tall one he's kinda right in your face! I've certainly seen a number of excellent gigs there over the years - some artists on several different occasions - Bert, Pete & Wizz, Robyn, Kimberly, Davy, etc. This isn't one of Michael's finest hours, but it's quite enjoyable & aside from the audience yap the quality is really fine. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
