It was with great joy that I read Snock was coming to Austin back in 2007. I seem to recall it was a late show, playing around midnight with Pink Nasty and maybe another 2 groups opening. They had a short tour.
Michael sauntered out into the club briefly before his set wearing well-worn but
colorful flannels and a cap. During Hurley's set, the small crowd was able to sit
on the floor in front of the stage due to all the free space. I was happy as a clam to see him, but a little bummed at the small turnout. Was an intimate little crowd.
Pretty sure I had to cut something (either a song or some dead air at the encore) to fit onto a 79-minute CDR. Due to minidiscs being a pain in the neck to transfer, I won't be returning to the master.
Don't let the meager recording equipment fool you, it's a gorgeous recording. This disc/recording has been lost in moving boxes for years, quite surprised at how good it sounds. (My memory was that it sounded muffled).
