CD release party for " Live At The Turning Point"

There was a nice vibe at this show, felt like dejavu as it was almost a year since
i saw this band for the first time at the Turning Point Cafe which at that time was
not planning a live cd, but after being recorded by me and owner John McAvoy on
the soundboard everything fell into place as Mike really liked the recording i sent him
with some photos i took and i guess they decided to go ahead with the live cd after
listening to the performance ....wow that's how magical it felt being there !

This night was just electric as Bob Poparozzi from Blood, Sweat & Tears really fires
things up with his sensational harmonica playing and dynamite vocals as a special
guest again, also on hand was Arethra Franklin's drummer Bernard Purdie who sat in
for a couple of numbers adding his special touch.

I know the Michael Packer Band really knows how to entertain the crowd, as evident
by looking at those in the crowd thoroughly enjoying themselves....the Michael Packer
Band is the blues and they sure know how to play them.

The setlist is a little different than the live cd but the same great feel, these guys really gel
together onstage whether playing classic covers or originals it's all good !
