It's alway's nice to get out and see The Michael Packer Blues Band because they
know how to entertain the crowd, whether playing originals or classics like
"Down Home Blues" it's a blues show & Michael Packer and Co.generate a party
atmosphere that gets everybody's attention.

This night was slightly different than past shows i've been to, only playing a
short but sweet set opening for Joe Louis Walker they still bring it home with
some wonderful surprises including guest vocalist Linda Pino who belted out a
couple of old classics like Buddy Guy's "I Smell Trouble" and Lou Ann Barton's
trademark tune "You Can Have My Husband", some serious gut wrenching blues here.

Other highlights are Ed Jackson who get's to take the mike once in a while and
belt out a tune like "Big Boss Man" that get's everybody dancing on stage, let's
not forget James Cotton protege Dave "Snakeman" Runyan who can whale on the harp
and sing some dirty lowdown blues like " I Ain't Doin Too Bad", great stuff.

Another very enjoyable evening with the Michael Packer Blues Band.
