Michael LePaul Williams, III son of the late Junior Medlow Williams, Texas legendary bluesman, is one of the few guitarists who can claim by heritage and genuine talent the title of "guitar slinger". Michael immediately draws comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix with his blistering licks and performance energy. Add to this his soulful vocals and song writing skills and you have the ingredients to Michael's boundless talent.

Michael, 30, has already had the opportunity to work with many accomplished musicians. Besides playing with his dad, Junior Medlow and the Bad Boys, he has played with Willie Nelson, Chris Duarte, Breedlove, and Elvis T. Busboy. He has opened for the Spin Doctors, Delbert McClinton and Merle Haggard. Michael's former band, "Mojo Hand", won the 1996 Battle of the Bands in Lubbock.

After the passing of his father, Michael moved to Seattle to pay tribute to one of his heros, Jimi Hendrix. There he formed, the Michael Williams Band, consisting of veteran players, Tony Williams on drums, Gerald Turner who plays masterful bass guitar and Ryan Shea Smith on keyboards.

This year will prove to be an exciting year for Michael with record release, "King of The Dead" and his name on the verge of international exposure.

Following in the footsteps of his beloved late father, while finding his own musical path, has led to Michael's success. His father would certainly be proud.
