Goody's notes:
The speed/pitch of the source ran quite fast/sharp and at varying degrees for most of the tape.
That has been corrected for this edition, improving the presentation immensely, imho.
Channel alignment and levels were also adjusted as well as some tracking.
As it's a SBD, the balance of what needed to be reinforced vs. what was just loud enough coming from the stage is
a bit off, with Mick's vocals being much louder in the mix than his guitar. Drums are quite prominent.
The piano is also a bit louder than it would normally have been heard for this same reason.
And, most unfortunately, there's no way to bring back Mick's iconic solo, missing here, in 'Can't You Hear Me Knockin'.
I'm sure that highly anticipated bit would have been here had the tape not run out.
Sadly, I'm sorry to point out that it's basically just a keyboard feature now; (including a sampled tenor saxophone replacement for the real thing...)
