Mick TAYLOR SHOWS
- The Glimmerman Tapes -
(StonyRoad/Glimmerman Production n°05)

This great project was enabled by Glimmerman.
Some months ago Glimmerman posted 4 new recordings from Mick Taylor. It was a great surprise to every Mick Taylor fan but sadly these transfers were lossy and cannot be posted on all sites. Glimmerman sent me his original recordings and allowed me to make a new transfer and to rework it,
Here you will get this new transfer, lossless and reworked.

This series will contain of:
- 1984 04 28 – San Juan Capistrano (with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers)
- 1994 02 24 – Solana Beach (with the Terry Reid Band)
- 2001 08 02 – San Juan Capistrano (MT with his own band)
- 1991 02 06 – Solana Beach (with James Harman Band) -which will be included in a separate MT & James Harman Band-series soon.

I'd like to thank my usual partners in crime Jaap (‘Stonesmuziekfan’) and nzb for their advice and revisions and of course Glimmerman for his generosity, without whom this project would not have been possible!

An already circulating version of this show exists. It was lossy, running too slow (by -2,7%) and without some little sequences. In particuliar ‘Italiano Style’ was cut in two parts (change of the cassette) and they were reconnected after deleting some music. Also the breaks after « 8000 Miles Drive » and after the band introduction were shortened.
Here you will find the more complete version, lossless and in the correct speed.
A very good recording. I edited the tracks, added a little more treble and deleted some micro noises.
« Italiano Style » was cut in two parts (time for a tape flip) so I decided to keep it this way with a short fade in/out’ to spare more music.
Because of the break between « 8000 Miles Drive » and « Checkin’ Up On My Baby » I decided to do the separation for the 2 cd-rs here.
The pictures used on the back cover are coming from the 13th April show in Houston and can be found on: https://www.rockinhouston.com/performers/john-mayall/232?groupBy=Venues
