Mick TAYLOR
With TUMBLIN’ DICE

This is a series dedicated to Mick Taylor's shows with Tumblin’ Dice.

Tumblin’ Dice is the name of the band that Mick Taylor toured with (mainly) the South of the US in 1992 - 1993.
This group also included the legendary Bobby Keys and sometimes the late great Nicky Hopkins or (from the X-Pensive Winos) Ivan Neville in its line-up.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows, to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

For this show we have 2 lossless recordings.
My version had a better sound and contained “Goin’ South” which was missing on nzb’s version. But nzb’s version contains the complete encore break.
So for the groundwork I used my version and then I added the encore break from nzb's version - so now the show is more complete *!
On my version I equilibrated the channels (+20% for the right), I amplified a little the sound, deleted little gaps and reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song.
* Note a gap at the end of “You Gotta Move” (at 13’28), as the track was previously in two parts. Some seconds of music got lost (maybe the moment to flip the tape?), so I added a short fade in/out.

Note that the second set was too long (more than 90 minutes) so I had to put “Goin’ South” on the first cd (as it was already done on my version).

As usual all the infos are taken from The Mick Taylor Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf: http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/mt/taylor1.htm
