Night 2 of Hometown Throwdown 19. This is my first Throwdown on my new recorder (And only my second/third/fourth time using it at all). I was forced to replace my Edirol R-09 for reasons I won\'92t go into, but there was definitely a learning curve for me with the DR-100 Mk III at this year\'92s Throwdown. That said, I think the recordings more or less came out good still.\
\
Night 2 seemed to go smooth - until I checked my recording afterwards. In the past, I\'92ve had an occasional issue with my CA-14\'92s where the right channel will occasionally cut out. It\'92s happened ever since I got those pics two years ago sporadically, but rarely for more than a few seconds at a time. I had the same problem on night 2 this year, but it was a little more drastic than usual; when I looked at the waveform in Audacity when editing this one, I had maybe somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes of actual audio in my right channel. I\'92m not sure if there\'92s some faulty wiring, but I\'92ll definitely be looking into this issue after what happened taping this one. Since my right channel was essentially unsalvageable, I just copied the audio over from the left channel to the right channel, so it\'92s not truly stereo. That said, despite this massive flaw, I think I still came out with a pretty good capture all things considered. It sounds a little flat, but I\'92m guessing that\'92s a by-product of really only having one channel of audio captured. Otherwise, there\'92s really nothing worth noting on this one. \
